With a person-centered approach, I’ll support you in working things out in a way that feels calm and comfortable, while still pushing against the challenge.

Parts Work, as well as a way of looking at things, is a gentle yet powerful technique I offer often. In short, It's based on the idea that we're made up of different parts or inner systems. Growing our awareness of this gives us a deeper understanding of ourselves, creates choice... And feels good!

How We Work Together

It all begins with rapport — the foundation of any strong relationship, and especially important here. It's about ensuring that you feel comfortable, understood, and truly heard. You want to feel like you jive with your counsellor or coach. When trust is established, it becomes much easier — or in many cases, necessary — to open up and explore what's on your mind.

The conversations we have are designed to provide insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping you gain clarity about what truly matters to you. Sometimes this leads us to create practical strategies or coping mechanisms to manage challenges. Other times, it helps us name what needs to be healed. And often, what you've been carrying just needs to be spoken aloud and truly heard in a safe space.

Through this process, the goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, understanding, and confidence.
