You don’t need to be in crisis to be here.
With a person-centered approach, I’ll support you in working things out in a way that feels calm and comfortable, while still pushing against the challenge.
Parts Work, as well as a way of looking at things, is a gentle yet powerful technique I offer often. In short, it’s based on the idea that we’re made up of different parts or inner systems. Growing our awareness of this gives us a deeper understanding of ourselves, creates choice — and feels good.
I’m passionate about helping people develop self-awareness and live more fulfilling lives, and I look forward to working with you.
It all begins with rapport — the foundation of any strong relationship, and especially important here. It’s about ensuring that you feel comfortable, understood, and truly heard.
First sessions are about fit — you get a feel for me, I get a picture of what’s going on. No worksheets, no performance.
We find what’s actually driving the thing — on the surface and underneath it — and we work at the speed it’s ready to move.
A tool, a next step, or a clearer head. Every session ends with something you can use.
For when something heavy won’t put itself down — stress, anxiety, a loss, a relationship, or a feeling you can’t quite name. We slow it down, look at it properly, and work out what you want to do with it.
For when you know where you want to go but you’re not moving. Focused conversation and honest questions — we sharpen the goal, name what’s in the way, and build some momentum.
A way of working I use often. We’re all made of parts — the one that pushes, the one that worries, the one that hides. Getting to know them gives you real choice in how you respond. It sounds unusual until you try it. It works, and it feels good.
Sessions are covered under most insurance plans, and some providers let me bill them directly — so you may not pay out of pocket at all.
If cost is the sticking point, say so. I’d rather find a fee that fits than have money be the reason you don’t come in.
I’m a counsellor and coach based in Surrey, BC. I work with people carrying stress, big transitions, relationship strain — and the ordinary weight of a life that’s been asking a lot.
Before this I spent ten years as a flight attendant, seven behind a bar, and a stretch on construction sites. Different uniforms, same work: people. I don’t rattle easily, and I’m not here to judge whatever you bring through the door.
MPCC (Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling) · ACC (ICF-accredited coach). I draw on Parts Work, somatic awareness, and mindfulness-based practice.
